Story

This week our school is celebrating our virtual 'Amber Flag week'. As part of our celebrations we are challenging our students to take part in the Jerusalema dance challenge. After completing the dance we encourage you to then donate an amount of your choice to the charity Pieta House.

Pieta's vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance. By donating to our event you will help them to strive to make this a reality. All of their services (one-to-one counselling, 24 hour helpline, SBLO Service, Training and Education) are provided free of charge. This is only possible because of donations like this one.

Pieta first opened its doors in Lucan, in 2006. Since then we have seen and helped over 70,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. We now operate 20 locations across Ireland. Pieta now employs over 200 therapists and support staff, and the demand for our service is increasing.
