We fools from Haines Watts Altrincham are attempting the Coast to Coast cycle ride (Whitehaven to Sunderland) from the 23rd to 26th September 2004.
We are doing it in aid of the charity DebRA. Danny Griffiths opposite was born with EB and he is the son of Matthew, who works in our tax department, and who is taking part in the ride.
You may have seen the recent Channel 4 programme called The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off which covered the life of Jonny Kennedy. If you watched this programme we don't need to say anymore but for those of you who didn't, DebRA do a fantastic job helping sufferers of EB and their families. Danny has EB, which basically means that every time his skin is touched he breaks out in blisters.
