We are trying to raise awareness of Brain Injury throughout the local community and spread the word about Headway Swindon and what we do.

Throughout October 2019, we have asked local Hairdressers & Barbers to support us by asking their clients to donate something as little as £1 from every haircut/treatment.

We aim to help those affected by brain injury or stroke. By simply spreading the word and donating what you can, will help tremendously at our rehabilitation centre in Dorcan. We offer our clients the opportunity to regain vital skills such as reading, writing, problem solving, planning and social communication. Through our cognitive rehabilitation therapy programme, we encourage clients to set and achieve personal goals. This is achieved through pen and paper exercises, conversation groups, reading, fine motor skills, ICT groups, pottery, arts and crafts etc.
