Hair today, gone tomorrow... Cutting my hair for charity!

Hair today, gone tomorrow... I'm cutting my hair for charity! · 5 September 2017
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to read what I'm hoping to do!
Soooo... if you know me, you'll know I've had really long hair for, well, a really long time. But since the age of 15 I've always said that I wanted to donate it so it could be used to make a wig for someone in need. I'm 23 now and although I absolutely adore my hair, and feel it's a big part of who I am, I know that there's a little girl out there who needs it more than me.
I've chosen the Little Princess Trust because they don't charge the child or their families who are facing cancer for the wig. But in doing so, that means the charity relies on donations and fundraising so they can fund making wigs, and the cost of making a single wig starts at £350! I haven't set a target for how much to raise but the dream is to cut off some of the price of making it (while cutting off my hair bahah).
As I'm sure most of you know, cancer is an ugly thing to face and has taken away so many special people from our lives. The thought of a child going through it breaks my heart and if I can help even slightly, then that's what I hope to do. Although the Little Princess Trust asks for a minimum hair donation of 7 inches, I'm going to take the leap and get 12+ inches of my hair cut off, this will then be sent off to be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to cancer.
But I also need your help! Please help me to make this all become a reality - donate whatever you can, share this page, tell your friends... I'd honestly really appreciate it.
Okay, so I just want to say thank you to anyone who donates, shares this page, spreads the word, lies to me when I look hideous with short hair or holds my hand when I get it all chopped off (yeah, I'm looking at you mum).
Lots of love,
Jenn xx
