I will be taking on The Italian Lakes Cycle, a gruelling 4-day,  multi-stage cycle event, covering 320 miles, to fundraise for Midwives and Mums Awareness Academy (MAMA) a charity bravely founded by Heidi Eldridge, after her first son was tragically still born. 

I work for a company called Hegenberger Medical and we are helping sponsor the event as our mission is to ensure that mothers and clinicians are equipped with the adequate tools and information to give a safe environment for women during pregnancy and after birth.

MAMA Academy aims to make the U.K. the safest place in the world to have a baby, regardless of age, ethnicity and background. Something that is very close to the entire Hegenberger team, but especially the midwives.
