Hi everyone
In a last-minute moment of madness, I have signed up to cycle 320 km in five days through Northern Thailand. The sweat and tears are all for a great cause - Norwood, a charity which provides vital support to thousands of people with learning disabilities and associated children and families.
It is fair to say that I am not currently at the peak of my physical fitness and having started my training yesterday (a paltry five weeks before we fly), it wasn't a pretty sight. Deep fried mars bars are off the menu for the moment and I am now following a strict diet of pasta and carborific energy bars.
