We're pretty fortunate to have access to a health system that is still free to its citizens, here in the UK.

Members of my family in Zambia aren't so fortunate. Not only do many Zambians suffer from HIV or AIDS, but also don't receive the treatment they need. I'ld like to raise money for the people who are suffering, mentally and physically, from this disease. 

As adults continue to die from AIDS related illnesses over the next years, an increasing number of children will grow up without parental care causing an orphanage crisis.

The challenge of a marathon seems fitting and will require a year of training. Please help me to raise awareness for those people, that often suffer in silence, with no help.
