Hola chicos y chicas!
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
We're the Haling Manor Spanish Club and in the run up to Christmas this year we've decided to support the Casa Alianza Charity.
Casa Alianza is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to the looking after and defending the street children of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico.
We work with over 12,000 street children a year most of whom have been orphaned, abused or abandoned and are further traumatised by the indifference of the societies in which they live.
Founded in 1981,, Casa Alianza has grown from a refuge for displaced Guatemalan children into an international organisation working on behalf of street children.
We offer street children shelter, food, medical care, protection, guidance, respect and love. Casa Alianza began as a place where forgotten children could escape from loneliness, hunger, drugs, poverty, prostitution, emotional starvation and physical danger. Twenty five years later, our work continues but we have grown to become a lot more. Casa Alianza now also actively defends children’s rights and our staff regularly risk their own personal safety to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Casa Alianza Charitable Company gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please support us now!
Muchos Gracias
