Hi, this is Katie Halton, wife of the late Martin Halton.

Martin lost his very short but extremely brave battle against wide spread gastric cancer on 26th June 2013. This was a massive shock to all his family and friends as it was so sudden and unexpected to all concerned. He has left a huge void in all our lives, as he was such a special thoughtful person.

Several of Martin's closest family and friends are running the Wirral half marathon in memory of him and the chosen local charity specialises in researching the spread of cancer which kills two thirds of all cancer deaths.

Your money will go towards vital research to assist the treatment of
