Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I'm going to be running in the memory of Hame - the best God Dad a girl could ever hope for, who sadly passed away on 31 August 2009.
I have decided to run the Great South Run this year for my uncle and God Dad, Hame - and the Neuro Oncology Research fund at Cambridge University which is based at Addenbrooke Hospital. It's a 10 mile run - which for my little legs is a very long way!!
For all of those of you who knew Hame - you know why I'm running and why this cause means so much to me. For those who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Sheez and Hame .... growing up I was very lucky having Sheez and Hame around. They were always on hand when any one of us has needed them. This is now my chance to do something for them.
Hame was treated under Professor Brown at University Hospital Coventry. Professor Brown works alongside the Neuro-Oncology research team at Cambridge University to look for cures and treatments for brain tumours like the one Hame had. We all hope that the money raised by me running the Great South Run will help the team make a breakthrough.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
