The Hammies are racking up the miles to support a fantastic charity that provides domestic abuse services across Hampshire and Portsmouth.

Stop Domestic Abuse is an incredible organisation that delivers support to victims, perpetrators and communities affected by domestic abuse. The service delivered by the dedicated staff meets a demand that is rarely talked about.

Alongside empowering victims, enabling change in perpetrator behaviour and educating communities; Stop Domestic Abuse is fundraising to build their own refuge for women and children fleeing domestic abuse.  Nationally refuges are threatened due to reductions in funding. Currently all Stop Domestic Abuse refuges are externally owned and funded. These refuges are a safe space and provide an opportunity to start again for those who may not have been able to imagine a future for themselves. 

We are raising money specifically to donate to the Buy a Brick campaign which is currently half way to funding their very own refuge and moving closer to their vision of a world without domestic abuse.
