I am raising money for Action Cancer because nearly all of us have lost someone at some stage of our lives to cancer. It is one of the few terminal illnesses to which we presently have no cure too. As such I would be honored to help them raise the money needed to make cancer a bad memory.

My personal story is the circumnavigation itself. Ireland has been circumnavigated by kayak before, but never in a traditional Greenland skin-on-frame boat with a traditional Greenland paddle. A expedition of this scale is something of a vote in confidence in traditional methods. In addition to this I will be the youngest person to complete the expedition at nineteen.
