As many of you know my father suffered a long and painful battle with addiction, over the years he went through many ups and downs, and much of his better years were thanks to organisations such as Phoenix House. Here he was understood, respected, listened to and guided, making many great friends along the way.

I have wonderful memories of visiting Phoenix House in Sheffield, and Bexhill, when my dad seemed most himself; funny, strong, loving and caring.

Although his journey ended at the age of 51, we hope to help others like my dad on their road to recovery.
