Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money on behalf of HHUGS (Helping Houses Under Great Stress), this charity deals with families who have been affected by the so called 'War on Terror.' Families who have been seperated and ripped apart as the husbands, brothers, fathers and even sisters become victims. They are unjustly detained, treated in the harshest of manners without any reason, without any warning, without any proof or evidence that they have committed any crimes.

HHUGS, Alhamdulillah, support these families in every way possible, physically and mentally, supporting them in their daily lives. They help the sisters, whose husbands are unjustly behind bars. They help them with their shopping and also help them visit their husbands in prisons etc.

Brothers and Sisters, this is your chance to help a noble cause, to help your brothers and sisters who are in need. To let them know, that the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) is one body and we shall do all we can to support those who are weak and oppressed insha'Allah. Allāh ﷻ says:

 

❝And they feed, for the love of Allāh, the poor, the orphan, and the captive…” [Sūrah al-Insān, 8]

 

Muhammad ﷺ said:

 

❝Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allāh will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgment❞ [Sahīh Muslim]

 

❝The Muslim Ummah is like one body, if one part of it hurts, the rest of the body aches and shivers in pain also.❞ [Sahīh Muslim]

 

❝One who cares for widows and the poor is like those who fight in the way of Allāh or those who spend their days fasting and their nights praying.❞ [Agreed upon, also in Adab al-Mufrad of Imām al-Bukhārī]

 

❝I and the caretaker of the orphan will enter Paradise together like this, raising (by way of illustration) his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space in between.❞ [Sahīh al-Bukhārī]
