I have taken on a pledge to raise much needed emergency funds for the Global Emergency Winter Appeal with Human Appeal UK to help our brothers and sisters who are in desperate need in 8 different countries. I ask you to make dua and support me in this endeavour.

As well we CANNOT forget our sisters from the Rohingya, in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan and the street children in Bangladesh need Medical, Water & Nutrition & Hygiene COVID-19 packs! 

This winter as temperatures plummet, millions of displaced people in refugee camps and conflict zones will have to battle the cold weather conditions.  Already struck with homelessness, hunger and unsafe living conditions they are at high risk of a deadly virus, COVID-19. 

Winter kills – join me and help save lives

In Gaza, 2 million Palestinians are bracing for their harshest winter yet. Winter in Lebanon is closing in on 1.5 million Syrian refugees. Extreme poverty in Bangladesh threatens 600,000 street children and Rohingya refugees. Winter in Syria will put 6.1 million people at risk. In Iraq, 100,000 people have just been evicted from their tents and are out in the cold. In Sudan, 1.1 million children face extreme hunger. In Somalia, 2.1 million are hungry. And in Pakistan, 2 million face hunger and starvation.

Human Appeal is on the ground now in 9 countries distributing critical winter family emergency kits to protect against cold, hunger and COVID-19, but we cannot save lives without you.

Rohingya Refugees - £70 will provide a vulnerable Rohingya refugee family with an Emergency Kit, containing nutritious food, blankets, and covid-19 safety items, including face masks, hand sanitisers and washing detergent.

Gaza - £100 will provide a vulnerable family (5-7 people) in Gaza with a Winter Kit containing warm winter clothing for their children, including jackets, socks, hats and scarves, woolly jumpers and pyjamas, helping them to survive winter.

Yemen - £220 will provide a Emergency Kit to a vulnerable family (5-7 people) in Yemen, containing clothes, blankets and mattresses for the whole family, helping them to survive.

Syria - £140 will provide an Emergency Winter Kit to a vulnerable Syrian family, containing warm blankets, sleeping mats and rugs, shelter reinforcement, fuel for heating, and soap, helping them to survive winter.

Bangladesh - £100 will provide Emergency Kits to 5 vulnerable children living or working on the streets of Dhaka containing clothing, emergency supplies helping them to survive on the streets until shelter and permanent housing can be secured. 

Iraq - £100 will provide a vulnerable family (5-7 people) in Iraq with an Emergency Winter Kit containing warm blankets, mattresses, stoves for heating, jerry cans for fuel, and handwashing soap, helping them to survive winter.

Pakistan - £80 will provide an Emergency Winter Kit to a vulnerable family (5-7 people) in Pakistan, containing warm winter clothes, like socks, gloves, jackets, shawls and blankets, helping them to survive winter.

Somalia - £50 will provide a Winter Family Emergency Kit to a vulnerable Somali family (5-7 people) with mosquito nets, sleeping mats and emergency blankets to help them survive during this season.

Lebanon - £70 will provide a Winter Family Emergency Kit to a family (5-7 people) including a. nutritious food parcel and fuel for heating, helping a vulnerable Syrian family to survive the bitter season
