Story

Hello everyone!

I'm starting this fundraiser for my cousin Maysaa. She loves unicorns and rainbows and is the sweetest little soul. At 4 years old, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Since her diagnosis in March 2021, she has undergone numerous rounds of treatment, from an extremely risky, 8 hour long, surgical procedure, to radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this type of cancer and its progression, the likelihood of a relapse is very high and chances of survival after a relapse are low.

Maysaa is in her final six months of treatment in the UK, and we are now fundraising with Solving Kids Cancer to raise £106,000 by August 2022 for Maysaa to enroll onto the DFMO study at the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte that aims to stop her neuroblastoma from coming back.

In March 2022, I will be doing the 62 Mile Challenge, in which I will be running 2 miles a day. Please help me do my part in getting Maysaa the treatment she needs. We are already over halfway towards our target of £106,000! All donations will be going towards getting her the treatment she needs.

I will, of course, be keeping you all updated on my progress - for those of you that know me, you know that running is not my thing!

If you would like to get involved or require any further information, please do reach out.
