Story

Following my miracle recovery which was made possible by Sue’s quick thinking CPR; we’re raising funds to purchase a defibrillator and community CPR Training for the Naunton Park area.

Of the the 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests each year, 80 percent happen at home and another 20 percent occur in public places where, due to a lack of proximity to defibrillators, the victim is at most risk of death. However if a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, their chance of survival increases from 6 to 74 percent.

We’re having a fundraising dinner at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel (formerly the Cheltenham Park Hotel) on Friday 27th April at 6:30pm
