HELP FEED 1 MILLION MEAL: CAMPAIGN 2021 will become the year when we begin our Annual Help Feed 1 Million Meals Campaign.   Our largest campaign towards ending Global Hunger. Every year, MWF reaches those in need with food assistance in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. This Ramadan, we aim to #HelpFeed #1MillionMeals to those severely affected by extreme poverty; through our community kitchens, we will be providing Sahoor and Iftaar Meals and distribute Ramadan Food parcels around the world. 

FACTS ON GLOBAL HUNGER: Almost 690 million people will go to bed on an empty stomach every night. Nearly 98% of worldwide hunger exists in underdeveloped countries. Almost 1 in every 15 children in developing countries dies before the age of 5, most of them from hunger-related cause. One of the major causes of hunger is poverty. The world produces enough food to feed the global population, however, due to extreme poverty, people go hungry because they cannot afford to buy food.
