We support a university in South Sudan to develop leaders for this newest nation.

Story

I'm running the same km as the date every single day throughout February. That's a total of 406km - or an average of 14.5km per day, or nearly 10 marathons in 28 days. Or like running from my house in South London to The Eiffel Tower in Paris. Without a single day off.

I'm raising money for ECSSSUP, the UK charity that is supporting the development of a new university in South Sudan. The country desperately needs doctors, nurses, trained teachers, agriculturalists, lawyers and entrepreneurs to build a prosperous and peaceful nation. It's my greatest privilege and joy to have worked alongside the team in Juba who are committed to bringing about a better tomorrow for their country. Find out more here:

About the charity

ECSSSUP works with the Episcopal Church in its vision and mission to establish a university with campuses in different parts of the country. We represent the university and network on its behalf, offer advice on Higher Education governance and strategy, and fundraise through individuals and donors.
