I have decided to run the Liverpool Marathon in October (for my sins) and I will be doing it for MacMillan Cancer Support.  With 1 in 3 people being diagnosed with cancer in thier lifetime, it is an amazing charity who support people who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families, both to help with rehabilitation and important end of life care, including palliative care units and support to allow people to return home.  

In the last year, both my uncle and my mum's best friend have passed away due to cancer and MacMillan have been a huge support.  I have also seen the work they do while at work in hospital relentlessly on a daily basis, and it is all charity funded.

Please sponsor me to support this cause.  Although I do run on a regular basis, it was a big decision and is a big commitment to enter this race and it will be double the longest distance Ive ever done, a massive physical but also psychological challenge (people know how quickly I get bored!!).
