Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Nick and I will be running the Berlin Marathon in September this year in memory of Nick's Dad, Steve who sadly passed away of pancreatic cancer last year.
We will be running for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Pancreatic cancer is unfortunately one of the most poorly diagnosed types of cancer, with a low survival rate. Developments in fighting this type of cancer has made no advances within the last 40 years. This is why money to support further research is so important. The charity also supports people with pancreatic cancer and their family members which is also fundamental when the diagnosis and prognosis is so poor.
Steve was a fun-loving person who lived life to the full. We will (hopefully) be having fun doing this marathon, and running in his memory together. Any support to help us reach our target would be greatly appreciated.
