A few weeks before Christmas 2022 I received the devastating news that my mam was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’ve decided to take on the Lake District Ultra Challenge June 2023 to walk 100km (62 miles) over two days to raise money for Breast Cancer Now as a way of giving back and to hopefully help raise funds so that further research can be conducted in the hope they can continue to provide the amazing care and treatment they are currently doing.  

I’ll be undertaking this hiking challenge alongside family members and hopefully some of our friends to try raise as much money as we can for Breast Cancer Now which I’m hoping to hit my personal target of £600.

I’d appreciate anyone who wishes to make a donation to this cause so we can help to fight against this awful disease and I hope any money raised will provide support to those who are also personally affected by this.
