Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

My son Griffin was five weeks old when he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a life limiting, genetic condition. CF affects all organs in the body but primarily the lungs and digestive system, making it harder and harder to breathe.

CF is progressive, difficult and painful to live with. And there is no cure.

But you can be part of changing that.

Please dig deep and help fund the work of the CF Trust in improving the lives and outlook of all those suffering from CF. Griffin is a robust, happy three year old who thinks he can do anything; this half marathon is a small step towards keeping things that way.

Huge thanks from all of us.
