Hannah Cawthorn is raising money for Christians Against Poverty
Story
Hello! I started my internship at Christians Against Poverty in January this year and have loved learning all about the charity and having the privilege of being involved in their work.
Christians Against Poverty is a UK debt charity on a mission to release thousands of people from poverty through debt counselling and community groups.
I work in Debt Operations helping clients on their journey to become debt-free by working on managing their debts and talking to creditors.
The internship programme allows me to connect with a group of like-minded people, to develop our Christian faith together and learn about how the charity operates outside of our respective teams.
I, along with a group of friends, am going to be walking 50km in a day as part of the Yorkshire Ultra Challenge. It's definitely going to be a challenge but I'm looking forward to doing it for such a worthwhile cause.
