I am taking the plunge and running my first marathon (26.2 miles) in Edinburgh on Sunday 26th of May 2024.

I am very proud to be running in honour of Cancer Research UK. This is a charity very close to my heart, as I have seen first hand the positive impact that research and trials have into creating better treatments and outcomes for people. I will forever be grateful for the incredible work they do.

I hope to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, and any donations, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated 💙

The money I raise through the event will help Cancer Research UK to carry out cutting-edge research that saves and improves lives every day.

Please see below some examples of how your donations may be used:

- £35 buys the nutrients that cells need to grow in the lab, allowing scientists to find out more about cancer than ever before.

- £50 buys a microscope lens, meaning our scientists can focus on the small details that could help us beat cancer.

- £200 funds the team of 10 cancer nurses for 1 hour. Our expert team answer around 12,000 enquiries each year, offering confidential support and guidance to people affected by cancer.
