I will be running the New Forest Half Marathon on 22nd September this year in memory of Katie Pilcher, one of the most thoughtful, kind-hearted and beautiful people I have ever met. Katie lost her fight to a very aggressive form of stomach cancer on December 9th 2012, and is so greatly missed every single day. With more research into this terrible disease, we can hopefully one day avoid lives being cut so short, as Katie's was.
