Hannah Etherton is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Hannah gets the chop! · 21 July 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I am long overdue a hair cut and since I am going drastically short (long pixie hair cut style) there is going to be a lot of hair going spare. Hopefully at least 19 inches. I wanted to put this towards something of good use. I have already had my hair trimmed since the pictures were taken, so the hair should be in good condition! The hair donation is great, but it costs a lot to actually make it into a wig and multiple donors are required.

The Little Princess Trust explains what they do in the below part;

"When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise.Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away.The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families."
