Hatzola Herts is a volunteer emergency ambulance service and responder network based in the local community for the local community. When there is a medical emergency, every minute is crucial and can make the difference between life and death. Hatzola volunteer responders are on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Working alongside East of England Ambulance Service, they aim to provide a quick and efficient response to all emergency callouts. By having a locally based medical responder network equipped with life-saving medical equipment including defibrillators, oxygen and resuscitation devices, Hatzola is able to provide a quick and effective service to the community.

Running the marathon has always been on my bucket list. I have been entering the ballot for many years and this year I finally got through. I have never been more nervous and excited at the same time to complete this achievement and looking forward to ticking this off. 

I’m also looking forward as I will be joined by my uncle and brother - although not sure I will be able to keep up with them. 

My target is to complete the race and raise as much money as I can for this worthwhile charity.
