Almost everyone knows someone who has been or is affected by cancer. I've been fortunate so far and caught my malignant melanoma at stage 1, two surgeries later and I've been cleared now for 5 years. Others aren't so lucky. A dear friend of mine is currently fighting this awful disease and whilst I know running a 10k can't help them I do know that any money raised could help with the fight.
