In a moment of madness I signed myself up to the half marathon in Madrid! The day is looming and the training is getting intense so I thought it was about time to start fundraising!

I have chosen a cause close to my heart, Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity which works to fight pancreatic cancer through funding research, campaigning for awareness and offering support to patients and families. Most pancreatic cancer patients are given under a year to live, but with research scientists are hoping to improve these odds.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most malignant forms of cancer, to which I unfortuntely lost my grandmother earlier this year. I will be fundraising in her memory.
