This uncertain time is particularly hard if you have cancer, with worries about treatment or risk of infection. Now, our services are needed more than ever. We know cancer doesn't stop so we're working hard to be here for everyone who needs us.

Story

In 2014, I was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer. During the 9 months following diagnosis i underwent; 2 mammograms, 1 ultrasound, 2 MRI scans, 5 biopsies, 2 operations, 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 20 sessions of radiotherapy and continue my journey for another 2 years on hormone treatment.  Since then i have been monitored and am one of the lucky people who lived to tell the tale; some of my friends didn't.

In 2022, I was unfortunately diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had to undergo another major surgery. Again, I am still here to explain my story and i feel immensely lucky to have that privilege.

During my diagnosis and treatment Wessex Cancer Trust provided personal support that enabled me to understand my diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as support with daily travel to Southampton General Hospital.  The work that they do really does change the lives of those that are suffering and I feel honoured to be asked to complete a skydive and raise money to support others that are or have been diagnosed with cancer.

If you can, please sponsor me no matter how small as every little makes a difference to those in need.
