I'm running the Bupa Manchester 10k, in less than 6 weeks time, to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, a great charity which helps support people with dementia and those affected by it.

The Alzheimer's Society helped support my family as my Grandad was diagnosed with dementia in the later years of his life and my Nana, as a carer, was greatly affected too.

I know I'm not running a marathon or hiking across 7 different countries but, when I signed up to this 5 months ago, running 10km was definitely a challenge! (I blame the dodgy leg!)
