Cyclone Idai Emergency Appeal
Campaign by UNICEF UK (RCN 1072612 (England & Wales) and SC043677 (Scotland))
Cyclone Idai has triggered devastating floods across southern Africa. With almost 1 million children in danger, we urgently need your support.

Story

I'm sure you have been subject to me boring you with my triathlon chat over the past few weeks, it's been a first for me getting used to a road bike and facing up to the dreaded open water swim...

I wasn't planning to raise money but due to the recent cyclone in March I wanted to do something more to help Unicef's Cyclone Idai emergency appeal. Cyclone Idai has triggered devastating floods across southern Africa, an area close to my heart and family.

With almost 1 million children in danger, there is urgent support needed in Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi. Unicef is working with government and partners across the region to ensure children and families get the emergency supplies they need, and the vital support for the months ahead. Any support you can give will help Unicef respond to children and families with life-saving aid.

Thank you all - wish me luck :-)
