Campaign by Hospiscare (RCN 297798)
Exeter's Great West Run is an exciting half marathon (13.1 miles!) through the heart of Devon's capital. Hospiscare is on a mission to get local people running the local half marathon to support their local hospice. Could you be a Hospiscare Hero?

Story

On 21 May 2023, myself and two physio colleagues will be taking part in the Great West Run, in aid of Hospiscare. I decided to run for Hospiscare because I really believe in what they do - they are a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left. They also look after their staff and pay for all their employees to have private physio with the clinic that I work for - even their volunteers and they really do care. Hospiscare are a vital part of the local healthcare system and as a charity, they rely on donations to keep their services going. I know the past couple of years have been hard for everyone, but I want to help ensure Hospiscare can continue to be there for the community now and in the future. Please help me make a difference by giving whatever you can. Every donation helps and your support would really mean a lot to me. Thank you!
