On the 3rd July 2019, Dave and I will be taking part with many of our friends and colleagues in the Great Walk, (a marathon walk) in memory of our dear friend, Renee Metroka.

The Great Walk will be raising money to fund vital research by the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group into Ocular Cancer.

Dave was Renee's manager when she sadly lost her fight with cancer in January 2018. She was an inspiration to us both in her never give up attitude and positive outlook on life. This event is in her memory and will help raise vital funds for a charity close to Renee's heart. Rare forms of cancers like these are often overlooked when trying to raise funds and we hope this event will make a significant difference to research and treatment of ocular cancer.
