I, along with 36 other Diageo colleagues who have volunteered to take part in
the 1st Munro Challenge, which will see us climb three munro’s at three of our
iconic distilleries all within 36 hours.

Ascent of Lochnager, Sgurr Na Banachdich and Ben MacDui = 11,212ft and over
44.5km.

I have chosen to support the British Heart Foundation in
memory of my dear Grandad who passed away April 6^th of this year. He
was born with a hole in the heart in 1944 and although he struggled all of his life with various complications – he never made a fuss. He had a devlish humour, and cooked the most amazing food. He even accomplished a couple of  marathons in his time, as charity work was always close to his heart.

 He was a true inspiration and the most caring Grandad, who I truly adored.

This will be a huge challenge both physically and mentally , but those who know me, will know that I like to walk everywhere so what better way to raise money for something I love! Any donation, however big or small will be gratefully received.
