Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. Throughout the month of June the finance team will collectively be taking on 1 meter for every person in the UK living with dementia. This will be 900,000m or 900km/559miles we need to cover as a team throughout the month of June. To be as accessible as possible, we are allowing the team to complete their miles by any method in which they would like, run, swim, walk, roller-skate, cycle, it's up to the participants how they would like to complete their allocated miles as long as they are completed in June. The funds raised will go towards providing vital support for those living with dementia, £1800 will provide a whopping 115.5 hours of dementia advisor support! Together we are help and hope for everyone living with dementia.
