My name is Hannah and I am a third year student nurse and when I finish my degree in summer 2014 I am traveling to Cambodia to help the less fortunate children and communities of Battabang. I will be volunteering to do many things from building houses to teaching children English and sports. 

Cambodia is a developing country that faces many social issues and marginalised groups, particularly children, often don’t receive the care and support they need. Institutions in the Battambang region, where I will be volunteering, are poorly funded and ill equipped to deal with the many social problems that people face. I will work with selected local non governmental organistation’s on behalf of the most needy and neglected.

I feel so privileged to have this chance to travel and help others and any contribution is greatly appreciated.
