Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my page!

This summer I am going to be part of a team going on a mission trip to The Ukraine with Scripture Union Scotland to help at holiday camps for young people.

We will be based at a campsite called Vorzel which is a small village about an hour from Kiev. For the almost past 20 years Scripture Union, known as Open Bible in Ukraine, has been running residential holidays and day camps at the campsite in Vorzel which has become very important to many young people in Ukraine. As part of the mission trip we will be assisting in small groups, involved in activity provision and helping Ukrainians to learn some English in fun and exciting ways. We also hope that there will be some opportunity to sightsee in Kiev and we should also expect to learn a little Russian! 

To help fundraise for my trip you are invited to come along to a fundraising ceilidh! It is set to be a fantastic night of ceilidh dancing, Krispy Kreme doughnut eating and lots of silly games.

The ceilidh will be at 8pm on Saturday 27th April at Edinburgh Universities Teviot, Bristo Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9AJ.

Tickets cost £7, this includes a delicious Krispy Kreme doughnut! Please buy your tickets before the event, online here, just leave your name and how many tickets you would like and they will be held at the door for you.

The event is open to people of all ages, feel free to bring along your friends!
