Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On October 4th 2014 I will be taking part in the Major Series: Muddy Run. This is a 5km obstacle course through a hell of a lot of mud.
I am raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. This is a charity very close to my heart, as my grandad died of this horrible disease on March 1st 2013. In the 15 months between his diagnosis and his death, the MNDa provided help to my grandad in many ways, including: providing him with information; supplying him with equipment to help him with daily life, such as a chair which helped him get from sitting to standing when his legs became too weak, and a machine which transformed typing to speech, after he could no longer talk; and provided him with a life saving piece of equipment - a machine to help feed him through a tube fitted into his stomach after he could no longer eat.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is very underfunded and has very low awareness. I believe the work that these people do is amazing and they deserve more funding and awareness than they get.
Please take your time to donate whatever you can, and thank you for helping me to hopefully reach my goal of £1000.
