Florence and Hannah met in Uganda while they were both volunteering earlier this year. Inspired by the work that they saw and the people they met, they have committed themselves to running the London Landmarks Half Marathona and raising as much money as possible in the process!

We are a group all based in and around London who love community activities, spending fun and quality time with others and giving back what we can! We love the idea of all completing this half marathon challenge together with the aim to raise as much money as we can to a family based charity close to our hearts. 

This is a charity set up in Uganda by Dr Anne Merriman which provides palliative care to patients and palliative care training to providers across the continent of Africa. For over 25 years Hospice Africa has been providing palliative care and affordable morphine to HIV/AIDS and cancer patients which has massively improved their quality of life and allowed these patients to live free of pain and at peace. 

 Our group ranges from some expert runners to some who are trying running for the very first time! We hope you can support us in whatever way you can :)
