We are 8 members of the ShelterBox Operations Team (past and present!). We're taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for delivering vital emergency shelters to communities affected by disaster around the globe. About the Three Peaks: The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. About ShelterBox: Having somewhere dry and warm to sleep, to prepare meals and be with your family is vital for starting the long process of rebuilding your life. ShelterBox teams work with disaster-hit families around the world, offering emergency shelter and other essential items to support them in rebuilding their lives. Every disaster is different and so is every community, so we spend time with those affected to make sure we can offer the right support at the right time to help them recover. Our teams can travel by boat, helicopter or tuk-tuk to get to the families who need your support – whatever it takes to get to the people who have lost their homes to disaster. Your donation will make a difference to the lives of families who have lost everything. Donating just £10 could provide a solar light, a practical way to give families comfort and safety. Donating £69 could fund a whole shelter kit, providing communities with all the tools they need to start rebuilding their homes. £385 is enough to buy a family sized tent, designed to be durable enough to act as a temporary home in emergency situations.
