I completed the Salford 10k last year having not run since school! I've recently completed the couch to 5k, but the last few months of lockdown have had a real impact on my fitness, so I'll be getting in some training over the next month or so...

Pete Hadfield has also agreed to the challenge, and has been training hard to earn his sponsorship! Any sponsorship is really appreciated, it's for such an important cause, now more than ever, research into mental health is vital.

Despite the official Manchester 10k being cancelled we will be doing a 10k between now and 6th September - Date TBC - to raise money for MQ a mental health research charity!  

MQ: Transforming Mental Health is a charity formed to support research into mental illness. By funding research, we will be able to understand mental illness, improve current treatments, identify new ones and transform the lives of those affected: over 15 million in the UK. Better is possible.
