Recently, a close friend of ours has been diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma - a rare form of bone cancer. Obviously, this came as a massive shock to everyone, but Molly being her fabulous little self has dealt with the diagnosis and the challenges which come with this in the most amazing way and we couldn't be more proud of her. Molly will be receiving treatment at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool, which is also where we are on placement as Student Radiographers so we know she is in good hands. Clatterbridge is a truly amazing place full of the most amazing people, and the work they do for each and every patient in unbelievable. Clatterbridge have provided us with such great learning experiences in the last few years and we are lucky be part of such an amazing team. We cannot thank them enough for the educational support they have given us and the support they are providing for Molly in such a difficult time, so what better way to say thank you and raise money than to take on such a challenge, so we will all be doing the Skydive on September 19th 2021! With a long road to recovery ahead we hope by doing this challenge and seeing our faces on the edge of that plane will bring just the slightest bit of joy! It really is the least she deserves considering how amazing of a friend she is and the happiness she brings to everyone. We love you loads Mol <3
