22 Sea swims in December · 28 November 2021

The Wave Project is an award winning UK charity that helps vulnerable children and young people improve their health and wellbeing through a combination of surfing and mentoring. With the aid of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we've worked with thousands of children over the past 12 years.

Story

I am joining the Wave Project's Winter 22 Challenge by completing 22 sea swims (without a wetsuit!) in December. I would really appreciate if you could support my challenge by donating to the Wave Project to help fund 100 surf club sessions next year.

The Wave Project is a wonderful charity that supports children and young people who experience a range of physical and mental health issues, social deprivation or social isolation. They are referred and can attend our surf therapy courses and surf clubs and are supported through surfing to build confidence and self-esteem, develop resilience, and make friends.

I've been a volunteer with the Wave Project in West Cornwall for over a year now and I've seen the positive impact that surf therapy has on children and young people, it can be life changing.
