Sheffield Half Marathon 2013 · 12 May 2013 ·

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.

Story

Sooo I'm running the Shef Half marathon again this year to give myself a nice 13.1 mile tour of the city I love so much and to raise money for the ME Association while I'm at it.

It seems more than ever this illness needs awareness and understanding, beyond that the people who suffer with it need support that isn't readily available to them. No, it's not fatal, but it is a life sentence. I don't get to run so regularly as I did last year, so I I have set myself this challenge to try and get back to my PB in just 9 weeks time!

In 2012 you were kind enough to help me raise over £200 for the cause which really meant alot to me and i'd be equally thankful this time around.

Get your pennies out and I'll see to those pavements...

Thank you as always,

Han
