Story
Morrey, my 3 year old son, was diagnosed with a rare vascular disease called Microcystic Lymphovenous Malformation disorder last year which essentially means the three types of veins in his tongue are in a "tangle" and malformed, causing him to have tumours throughout his whole tongue that are continuously growing. His tongue often swells and cysts appear which can fill with blood and bleed. This is a life time condition which has periods where sudden growth and flares occur. He has been under the care of Great Ormond Street hospital since his diagnosis and so we would like to raise money for this amazing place that cares for unwell children and their families so well, by way to say "thanks".
We will be walking 5k around Hyde Park as a team called Happy Feet. Our team includes Lucy Samalionis, Alice Lily, Ben Miller, Bill, Morrey & myself!
Any donations are very much appreciated.
Thank you.
