Haris Presents: Stride, Summit, Spin

Hello, Hi, السلام عليكم. I’m Haris. I’m a guy who’s decided he’s going through a quarter-life crisis; I’ve signed up for multiple endurance challenges in 2025 إن شاء الله. Am I ready? Who knows… but it’s all for charity إن شاء الله.

Zakat applicable.

Four Challenges:

1. Manchester Marathon (April 2025) – My first-ever marathon (26.2 miles). As of 25/03/25 I have yet to start training—pray for me!.

2. Tough Mudder (July 2025) – A 5K mud run filled with obstacles.

3. Pakistan Skardu Challenge (September 2025) – A multi-day trek through Fairy Meadows, Naran, and Skardu.

4. Hijrah Bike Challenge (November 2025) – A 500km winter cycle from Makkah to Madinah.

Two Projects:

1. Water for Life: Islamic Relief is installing water filtration plants to provide entire communities with clean water. £2,500 can supply 50 people with safe water for life.

2. Maternity Care in Gaza: Supporting birthing services, post-natal medical kits, and hygiene kits at As Sahaba and Khair Hospitals. £2,500 supports 5 mothers through pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was asked: "Which charity is best?"

He (ﷺ) replied: "Providing water."

One Target:

My goal is to raise £𝟲𝟬𝟬𝟬, with all funds raised being Zakat applicable.

The target will be split equally between both projects إن شاء الله.

If the target is exceeded, إن شاء الله the amount raised after will also be split equally.

Am I ready?
