On Sunday 29th September 2024, Nottingham Hospitals Charity supporters will take on the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon and Corporate challenge, raising funds for areas within our hospitals that are close to their hearts.

Story

I'm taking on the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon 2024 to raise funds for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity.

Our son Jude Thomas Haden-Scott was born prematurely at 32weeks gestation, weighing just 3lb 2oz. The fast acting surgical team stabilised Jude and with thanks to the wonderful staff at Nottingham University Hospital Jude made amazing progress and was home safely within 20 days. The kindness myself and my wife were shown by the nursing staff in the NICU unit was second to none and helped us get through the toughest few weeks of our lives.

Now that we are all at home I want to do this to not only raise money but to overcome this challenge in the same way our amazing baby boy overcame each challenge in his way when in hospital.

Any donations are greatly appreciated!
