Story
Hi everyone!
This is the last run I’m taking part in before my hip surgery, so I’d be incredibly grateful for anything you’re able to give. I’ve been volunteering at GOSH for the past five years after being treated there when I was small (well, even smaller) and I’ve met the most inspiring patients and volunteers. I’ll be honest, most of the kids and dogs taking part will beat me to the finish line, but I’m not letting that stop me.
Thank you so much for anything you’re able to give :)
The money raised from Race for the Kids will help to fund ground-breaking research; advanced equipment; child and family support services and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities. Over the last 10 years, Race for the Kids has raised an incredible £5 million for the hospital. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity are hoping to raise £1 million from this year’s event.
